Styling for the vintage dress form.

Hello friends,

My friend Collette is now draped in a Summer scarf  ( remember, I am in Australia.. and it is heading towards Summer now) and a few lightweight vintage necklaces.

Cast aside are the paisley shawl and the selection of Winter scarves that usually adorn her lovely neck.

This sweet wisp of a scarf is a length of grey, spotted material with lace edging.
I purloined it from my daughter's wardrobe ( she is overseas in Wintery Europe )

I have had nothing but compliments each time I wear it.... how easy would this be to make.... !?

Until next time,

Your scarf looks like just a wisp of gauzy fabric with some wide lacy edging; couldn't be too difficult to sew, Jenni! It makes a great adjunct to the classic beads, doesn't it?

A lovely dress form and even more lovely decoration. (My contemporary plastic one is decorated with a black plastic bag to keep the ever present dust off lol)

Love the styling with the bright necklaces and you've given me a great DIY idea. Thanks!

Jenni, I love scarves and I can see why you get so many compliments when you wear this, it's so pretty. Unfortunately, where I live we are heading into winter so i'm starting to break out the heavier scarves!
